Usage Information
If there is no option to create a new rule and to avoid reconfiguring class-map, use the resequence class-
map command. This allows you to create numbering spaces.
service-policy input
Apply an input policy map to the selected interface.
Syntax
service-policy input policy-map-name [layer2]
To remove the input policy map from the interface, use the no service-policy input policy-map-
name [layer2] command.
Parameters
policy-map-name
Enter the name for the policy map in character format (32 characters maximum). You can
identify an existing policy map or name one that does not yet exist.
layer2 (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword layer2 to specify a Layer 2 Class Map. The default is
Layer 3.
