write
Copy the current conguration to either the startup-conguration le or the terminal.
Syntax
write [memory [compressed] | terminal]
Parameters
memory Enter the keyword memory to copy the current running conguration to the startup
conguration le. This command is similar to the copy running-config startup-
config
command.
compressed Enter the keyword compressed to write the operating conguration to the startup-
cong le in the compressed mode.
terminal Enter the keyword terminal to copy the current running conguration to the terminal.
This command is similar to the show running-config command.
