Command History
This guide is platform-specic. For command information about other platforms, see the relevant Dell Networking
OS Command Line Reference Guide.
Version Description
9.10(0.0) Introduced on the S6000, S6000–ON, S61000–ON, Z9100–ON.
Usage Information The xoff-state threshold polling-count command is used to set the number of times the polling
should be done. If a port/priority remains in the ‘xo’ state for the congured threshold number of polling-intervals,
then it would be detected as PFC storm condition. The ‘xo’ state means no transmission of data happens out of a
port/queue even though there are packets buered in that queue.
Example Use the storm-control pfc command in the conguration mode to enter the ‘storm-control-pfc'
conguration mode. The commands provisioned in this mode are applicable for all the interfaces that have PFC
storm enabled.
Dell(conf)#storm-control pfc

9.10(0.0) Introduced on the S6000, S6000–ON, S61000–ON, Z9100–ON.
Usage Information The disable command is used to disable the PFC storm feature globally. By default, PFC storm feature is
enabled on all the interfaces on which "storm-control pfc in queue-drop" conguration has been applied.
Example Use the storm-control pfc command in the conguration mode to enter the 'storm-control-pfc'
conguration mode. The commands provisioned in this mode are applicable for all the interfaces that have PFC
storm enabled.

Dell(conf-storm-control-pfc)#disable
storm-control pfc in queue-drop
When a PFC storm is detected on a port or priority, you can drop the trac meant for the specied port or priority, so that the trac in
other queues is not disturbed. You can apply storm-control pfc in queue-drop on an interface, to enable dropping of the trac
on all the lossless queues of the port.
Syntax
storm-control pfc in queue-drop
Parameters None
