Usage Information
• Single-host mode authenticates only one host per authenticator port and drops all other trac on the port.
• Multi-host mode authenticates the rst host to respond to an Identity Request and then permits all other
trac on the port.
• Multi-supplicant mode authenticates every device attempting to connect to the network on the authenticator
port.

Congure a list of supplicant MAC addresses for dot1x prole represented with a prole-name.
Syntax
[no] mac {mac-address1 mac-address2… mac-address6}

Enter the keyword mac and type the 48– bit MAC addresses using the H.H.H format. A
maximum of 6 MAC addresses are allowed.

Usage Information
The mac command congures a list of supplicant MAC addresses for a dot1x prole represented with a prole-
name. You can congure up to 6 MAC addresses in a single mac command. The maximum number of MAC
addresses that you can congure in a single prole is limited to 100.
Use this command in Conguration Terminal Batch mode to congure a list of supplicant MAC addresses for dot1x
prole in a dual-homing setup.
