Version Description
9.8(1.0) Introduced on the Z9100-ON.
9.7(0.0) Introduced on the S6000-ON.
9.3.0.0 Introduced on the S6000 and Z9000 platforms
Usage Information If the average queue size is more than the maximum threshold of WRED, the packet is dropped. If the average
queue size is between the minimum and maximum threshold values, the decision to drop or queue the packet is
taken based on the packet drop probability. The probability that a packet is dropped depends on the minimum
threshold, maximum threshold, and mark probability denominator.
Example
Dell(conf-qos-policy-out) # wred weight 5
wred-prole
Create a WRED prole and name the prole.
Syntax
wred-profile wred-profile-name
To remove an existing WRED prole, use the no wred-profile command.
Parameters
wred-prole-name
Enter your WRED prole name in character format (32 character maximum). Or use one
of the pre-dened WRED prole names. You can congure up to 26 WRED proles plus
the ve pre-dened proles, for a total of 31 WRED proles.
Pre-dened Proles: wred_drop, wred-ge_y, wred_ge_g, wred_teng_y, wred_teng_g.
Defaults The ve pre-dened WRED proles. When you congure a new prole, the minimum and maximum threshold
defaults to predened wred_ge_g values.
If green prole is applied, default yellow also take eect and vice-versa.
