Usage Information
If you congure the set next-hop command, its conguration takes precedence over the neighbor next-
hop-self command in the ROUTER BGP mode.
If you congure the set next-hop command with the interface’s IP address (either Loopback or physical), the 
software declares the route unreachable.
Related Commands
• match ip next-hop — redistribute routes that match the next-hop IP address.
set origin
To manipulate the BGP ORIGIN attribute, congure a lter.
Syntax
set origin {igp | egp | incomplete}
To delete an ORIGIN attribute setting, use the no set origin command.
Parameters
egp Enter the keyword egp to set routes originating from outside the local AS.
igp Enter the keyword igp to set routes originating within the same AS.
