Dell(conf)#
On interface in which PFC is not enabled:
Dell#show interface tengigabitethernet 1/1/1/1 pfc buffer-threshold
The following table describes the output elds displayed for the show interface pfc buffer-threshold
command:
Field Description
queue Number of the queue
lossless Whether the queue is a lossy or lossless queue for which buer threshold is congured
buer-size Ingress buer size
pause-threshold-
value
Buer limit at which the port sends the pause to peer in KB.
resume-threshold-
value
Buer oset limit at which the port resumes the peer in KB.
shared threshold
weight
Weightage of the priorities on the shared buer size in the system.
dcb pfc-queues
Congure the number of PFC queues.
Syntax
dcb pfc-queues value
Parameters
value Enter the number of PFC queues in the range of 0 through 4. The number of ports
supported based on lossless queues congured will depend on the buer.
Default The default number of PFC queues in the system is 2 for S4810 and 1 for S6000 platforms.

Command History
This guide is platform-specic. For command information about other platforms, see the relevant Dell Networking
OS Command Line Reference Guide.
Version Description
9.10(0.0) Introduced on the S6100-ON.
9.8(1.0) Introduced on the Z9100–ON.
9.7(0.0) Introduced on the S6000-ON and Z9500.
9.3(0.0) Introduced on the S4810 and S6000 platforms.
Usage Information You can congure up to a maximum of four lossless (PFC) queues. By conguring four lossless queues, you can
congure four dierent priorities and assign a particular priority to each application that your network is used to
process. For example, you can assign a higher priority for time-sensitive applications and a lower priority for other
services, such as le transfers. You can congure the amount of buer space to be allocated for each priority and
the pause or resume thresholds for the buer. This method of conguration enables you to eectively manage and
administer the behavior of lossless queues.
