Usage Information
You cannot delete a physical interface.
By default, physical interfaces are disabled (shutdown) and are not assigned to an IP address or switchport. To
place an interface in Layer 2 mode, ensure that the interface’s conguration does not contain an IP address and
enter the switchport command.
You can create up to 64 tunnel interfaces. The tunnel is added as a logical interface with no default conguration.
To delete a tunnel interface, use the no interface tunnel tunnel-id command.
The tunnel interface operates as an ECMP (equal cost multi path) only when the next hop to the tunnel destination
is over a physical interface. If you select any other interface as the next hop to the tunnel destination, the tunnel
interface does not operate as an ECMP.
