Step 2 Press the button beneath the OK softkey.
l The Offline Dialog is displayed. See Figure 17.

Step 3 Visually confirm that the Dell PowerVault 136T LTO Library has changed to the Offline state.
l The picker completes the current task. The upper center screen text line changes to Offline.
Step 4 Locate the Front Power Switch on the upper right front panel.
Step 5 Push the Front Power Switch inward to remove power to the electronics.
WARNING: Power is still present inside the library. Exercise extreme care when working inside the library.
Step 6 Locate the Rear Power Switch on the lower right corner of the back panel.
Step 7 Push the rocker Rear Power Switch to the bottom to remove power.
l Power is removed from the Dell PowerVault 136T LTO Library.
Emergency Shutdown
CAUTION: Use the method described in Emergency Shutdown in cases of emergency only.
Use the following procedure if an emergency situation arises.
Step 1 Locate the Rear Power Switch on the lower right corner of the back panel.
Step 2 Push the rocker Rear Power Switch to the bottom to remove power.
l Power is removed from the Dell PowerVault 136T LTO Library. All picker movements halt immediately.
Library Restart
Use the following procedure to restart the Dell PowerVault 136T LTO Library.
Step 1 If applicable, correct any situations that required the shutdown of the Dell PowerVault 136T LTO Library.
Step 2 Ensure that the front door is closed and mechanically locked.
Step 3 Locate the Rear Power Switch on the lower right rear panel.
Step 4 Push the rocker Rear Power Switch towards the top to apply power.
Step 5 Locate the Front Power Switch on the upper right front panel.
Step 6 Push the Front Power Switch inward to apply power to the electronics.
