Activating Windows Using the Internet
1 Click Start→ Run.

In the Run window, type the following and press <Enter>:
C:\Windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a.
The Activate Windows Wizard window appears.
3 Select Yes, let's activate Windows over the Internet now , and then click
Next .
The
Personal Registration window appears.
4 Enter your personal registration information, and then click Next .
The wizard establishes a connection with an activation system, and then
processes the activation request.
Activating Windows Using the Telephone
1 Click Start→ Run.

In the Run window, type
C:\Windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a.
The Activate Windows Wizard window appears.
3 Select Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to
activate Windows
, and then click Next .
The system may take a few seconds to generate an installation ID.
4 Select the country to display the phone numbers that will be used and call
that number.
5 Provide the representative on the phone with the installation ID.
The representative will give you a confirmation ID.
6 Type the confirmation ID in the required field to complete the activation
process.
