Installing the Power Distribution Board

should only perform troubleshooting and simple repairs as authorized in your
product documentation, or as directed by the online or telephone service and
support team. Damage due to servicing that is not authorized by Dell is not covered
by your warranty. Read and follow the safety instructions that came with the
product.

Unpack the new power distribution board.
2 Holding the power distribution board by its edges, carefully lower the
board into the chassis and align the board with the fastener holes at the
bottom of the chassis. See
Figure 3-34
.
3 Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, install the
five s
crews to secure the
power distribution board to the system chassis. See
Figure 3-34
.

Attach the power cables to the power distribution board.
5 Reinstall the system board. See
"Installing the System Board" on
page 139
