The system is functional and the services remain active. However,
the user must activate the license immediately after logon to continue
using the system.
To activate your license from the Administrator account, double-click the
Windows Activation icon on the task bar or run the following command
from the command prompt:
C:\Windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe/a
To activate Windows, perform one of the following procedures:
• Activating Windows Using the Internet
• Activating Windows Using the Phone
Activating Windows Using the Internet
1 Click Start → Run
2 In the Run window, type the following and press <Enter>:
C:\Windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe/a .
3 Select Yes, lets’s activate Windows over the Internet now
and then click Next.
The
Personal Registration window appears.
4 Enter your personal registration information and click Next .
The wizard establishes a connection with an activation system
and the processes the activation request.
Activating Windows Using the Phone
1 Click Start → Run
2 In the Run window, type the following and press <Enter>:
C:\Windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe/a .
3 Select Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative
to activate Windows
, and then click Next .
The system may take a few seconds to generate an installation ID.
4 Select the appropriate country to display the phone numbers that will
be used and call that number.
