Note: This procedure is optional. SNMP notications are not enabled unless you have selected the SNMP
Enabled check box. To disable SNMP notications, clear the SNMP Enable check box and click Submit.
The traps that are supported by the TL1000 Tape Autoloader are listed in “Trap denitions (types)” on
page 131.
To set up trap notications for an SNMP server:
1. In the Congure Library menu in the left navigation pane of the Web User Interface, click SNMP
2. Select the SNMP Enabled check box.
3. Congure the SNMP server and header settings.
Community - SNMP community name to which the library belongs.
Name - Unique SNMP name for the system.
Location - Physical location of the system.
Contact - Contact person's name.
SNMPv3 engine ID - A read-only attribute that identies the SNMPv3 engine.
