2. Remove the middle cap from the computer.

Installing the middle cap

Prerequisites

If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps

1. Align and insert the middle cap onto the palmrest.

NOTE: Ensure that the middle cap is secured in place by the two pegs on the palmrest.

2. Replace the four (M2x3) screws to secure the middle cap in place.
