to complete the installation procedure.
Dell OpenManage™ Server Administrator and the System Update Utility
(SUU) support matrix do not list Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003 R2
x64 Editions With SP2 as a selectable operating system.
This issue occurs as designed, and is documented in the Dell OpenManage 5.0
and above software releases. To install OpenManage Server Administrator
or to run the System Update Utility on Windows Storage Server 2003 R2
x64 With SP2, the option to be selected is Windows Server 2003 R2.
The names of other editions of the operating system may display during
the installation or upgrade process.
The names "Windows Server 2003", "Windows Server 2003 R2", "Windows
Storage Server 2003 SP1", and "Windows Storage Server 2003 R2" may be
interchanged during the upgrade process, within the system properties,
and in other areas within the operating system.
This is a known issue and occurs as designed by Microsoft.
Unable to differentiate between Microsoft Windows Storage Server 2003
R2 x64 Express, Workgroup, or Standard Editions.
Windows Storage Server 2003 R2 x64 Express, Workgroup, and Standard
Edition operating systems are all based on the Standard Edition media.
