When system reboots, system stops responding at
the end of the reboot process
Description: When the system reboots, system stops responding at the end of the reboot process. When the system is
in this state, it does not respond to keyboard or mouse device and iDRAC virtual console displays the No
signal message.
Applies to:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6 and later
Cause: Not available
Workaround:
To recover the system, perform any one of the following:
Using iDRAC GUI, on the Dashboard page, click Graceful Shutdown drop-down, and then select
Reset System(warm reboot).
Restart the system by pressing the Power button.

NMI watchdog reports CPU soft lockup
Description:
If storage IO operation is high in a system, the NMI watchdog reports a soft lockup on CPU. When NMI
watchdog detects CPU soft lockup, following message is displayed periodically:
kernel: NMI watchdog : BUG : soft lockup - CPU stuck for 22-23 secs
The system might reboot intermittently.

Unable to create or modify namespace for NVDIMM
Description:
Creating or modifying a namespace for NVDIMM fails.
Applies to: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.6
Cause: The command that is sent by the linux kernel for a device-specific method function is not translated
correctly.
Solution: Before you create or update a namespace, download and install the dd-nfit-3.10.0_957-1.el7_6.iso driver
