proactively manage virtual environments and ensure high availability

of your Dell Servers running Microsoft Windows Server 2008 x64

Operating Systems with Hyper-V enabled.

This Readme provides information for the Dell Server PRO Management

Pack 1.0 which can be imported to System Center Operations Manager

(SCOM) 2007 SP1/System Center Essentials (SCE) 2007 SP1.

This file contains updated information for the "Dell Server PRO

Management Pack 1.0 for SCVMM 2008 User’s Guide" and any other

technical documentation included with the Dell Server PRO Management

Pack.

* DF290310: When you remove Dell PRO Pack Managed system from SCVMM, the associated alerts and PROTIPs are not removed in SCOM and SCVMM. Also, the Managed System would not be undiscovered in SCOM. * DF289065: When you change the PRO configuration in SCVMM, you need to wait for several minutes to see the PRO settings in effect due to the time lag involved in SCOM/SCE-SCVMM synchronization.
