sync-e ssm-network-option
Configures the synchronization network.
Syntax
[no] sync-e ssm-network-option {1 | 2}
Parameters
1Enable synchronization network designed for Europe. The following clock source QL values are
supported for this SSM network: QL-ePRTC, QL-PRTC, QL-ePRC, QL-PRC, QL-SSU-A, QL-SSU-B,
QL-eEEC, QL-EEC1 and QL-DNU.
2Enable synchronization network designed for US. The following clock source QL values are
supported for this SSM network: QL-ePRTC, QL-PRTC, QL-ePRC, QL-PRS, QLSTU, QL-ST2, QL-
TNC, QL-ST3E, QL-EEC2, QL-ST3, QL-PROV and QL-DUS.

Information
You cannot change the network option when a mismatching QL configuration exists on an interface. See
sync-e quality-level. The no form of this command removes the configuration.

Configures the switch to use a SyncE clock source on a specific interface, regardless of the clock quality or availability.
Syntax
sync-e switch force [ethernet node/slot/port]
Parameters ethernet node/slot/portEnter a physical Ethernet interface.

This command configures a switch to use the clock source that is enabled and not locked out.
