Enable Debug Logs
Enable debug logs to gather additional information for troubleshooting purposes. Do not set debug log options unless instructed to do so by
technical support.
1 If a Storage Center is selected from the drop-down list, click (Home) in the left navigation pane.
2 Click Data Collector.
The Data Collector view is displayed.
3 Click the Monitoring tab, and then click the Support subtab.
4 Click Edit.
The Edit Support dialog box opens.
5 Select the checkboxes of the debug logs to enable.
6 Click OK.
Congure Log File Limits
Congure the size limits for the log les.

2 Click Data Collector.
The Data Collector view is displayed.
3 Click the Monitoring tab, and then click the Support subtab.
4 Click Edit.
The Edit Support dialog box opens.
5 To modify the maximum le size of the Data Collector debug logs, change value in the Maximum Log File Size eld.
6 To modify the maximum number of log les for each Data Collector debug log type, change the value in the Maximum Log Files Per
Logger eld.
7 To modify the number of days after which a log le is expired, change the period of time in the Log File Lifetime eld.
8 Click OK.
Clear Debug Logs
Clear the debug log les to delete all Unisphere Central debug log les.

The Data Collector view is displayed.
3 Click the Monitoring tab, and then click the Support subtab.
4 Click Clear All Debug Logles.
A conrmation dialog box opens.
5 Click Yes.
