Storage Center Command Set for Windows PowerShell provides PowerShell commands that manage Storage Centers and Storage Center
objects. Storage Center Command Set 7.1 for Windows PowerShell introduces new commands and xes issues present in the previous
release.

Requirements
The following requirements apply to Storage Center Command Set 7.1 for Windows PowerShell.
Requirement
Description
Storage Center Version 6.6 or later.
.NET Framework Version 3.5 or later.
Windows PowerShell Version 2.0 or later.
NOTE: Install Windows PowerShell before installing Storage Center Command Set snapin.
Storage Center user
Privileges
Cmdlet access to Storage Center folders, volumes, and views is dependent on the Storage Center user privilege
and the group membership:
Administrators: have full system access.
Volume Managers: have access to folders associated with their assigned User Groups. They can create
volumes in the allowed volume folders and map them to existing servers in the allowed server folders.
Reporters: have readonly access to folders associated with their assigned user.
Script Privileges Script le execution requires the following:
Windows elevated permissions.
Write access (with PowerShell scripting enabled) to either the directory in which the PowerShell executable
is located or the directory in which the script le is located.
