6. Enter the email address of the user in the Email Address field.
7. Click OK.
Change the Privileges Assigned to a User
You can change the privileges for a user account by changing the user role.
Steps
1. Connect to the Data Collector.
a) Open a web browser.
b) Type the address of the Data Collector in the web browser using the following format:
https://data_collector_host_name_or_IP_address:3033/
c) Press Enter.
The Unisphere Central login page is displayed.
d) Type the user name and password of a Data Collector user with Administrator privileges in the User Name and Password field.
e) Click Log In.
2. If a Storage Center is selected from the drop-down list in Unisphere Central, click
(Home).
The Unisphere Central Home page is displayed.

Click
Data Collector.
The Data Collector view is displayed.
4. Click the Users & System tab, then select the Users & User Groups subtab.
5. Select the user to modify and click (Edit Settings).
The User Settings dialog box opens.
6. Select the role to assign to the user from the Role drop-down menu.

Change the Preferred Language for a Storage Manager
User
The preferred language for a Storage Manager user determines the language displayed in automated reports and email alerts from the
Data Collector. Reports displayed in the UI and generated by a user request will not use the preferred language.
Steps
1. Connect to the Data Collector.
a) Open a web browser.
b) Type the address of the Data Collector in the web browser using the following format:
https://data_collector_host_name_or_IP_address:3033/
c) Press Enter.
The Unisphere Central login page is displayed.
d) Type the user name and password of a Data Collector user with Administrator privileges in the User Name and Password field.
e) Click Log In.
