2. Congure the SMTP server settings by performing the following steps:
a. Enter the host name or IP address of the SMTP server in the Host or IP Address eld.
b. Enter the email address to display as the sender of emails from Storage Manager in the From Email Address eld.
c. If the port number of the SMTP server is not 25, enter the correct port number in the Port eld.
d. If the SMTP server requires authentication, select the Authentication check box, then enter the username in the SMTP
User Name
eld and enter the password in the SMTP User Password eld.
3. Click OK.
Conguring Reporting Limit Settings
Use the Limits tab to congure reporting limit settings.
About this task
The maximum size and number of Data Collector debug logs can be modied in the Log Limits area. The number of days that log,
alert, and reporting data is kept can be modied in the Reporting Information Limits area.

Steps
1. In the Data Collector Manager, click the Limits tab.
2. To modify the maximum le size for Data Collector debug logs, change the value in the Maximum Log File Size eld.
