Export Threshold Alert Data to a File
Threshold alert data can be exported to CSV, Text, Excel, HTML, XML, or PDF.
1 Click the Threshold Alerts view.
2 Click Save Threshold Alerts in the Threshold Alerts pane. The Save Threshold Alerts dialog box appears.

3 To export active threshold alerts, select the Current Threshold Alerts check box.
4 To export past threshold alerts, select the Historical Threshold Alerts check box.
5 Select the type of le to output: CSV, Text, Excel, HTML, XML, or PDF.
6 Click Browse to specify the name of the le and the location to which to export the le, then click Save.
7 Click OK.
Conguring Email Notications for Threshold Alerts
To receive email notications for threshold alerts, congure SMTP server settings for the Data Collector, add an email address to your user
account, and enable notication emails for
Threshold Alerts events.
NOTE
: Storage Manager can send only one threshold alert email for every 24 hour period. The number of threshold alert emails
per 24 hour period cannot be congured.
Congure SMTP Server Settings
The SMTP server settings must be congured to allow Storage Manager to send notication emails.
1 Connect to the Data Collector.
a Open a web browser.
b Type the address of the Data Collector in the web browser using the following format:
https://data_collector_host_name_or_IP_address:3033/
c Press Enter.
The Storage Manager login page is displayed.
d Type the user name and password of a Data Collector user with Administrator privileges in the User Name and Password eld.
e Click Log In.

If a Storage Center is selected from the drop-down list, click (Home) in the left navigation pane.
3 Click Data Collector.
The Data Collector view is displayed.
4 Click the Environment tab and, then click the SMTP Server subtab.
5 Click Edit.
The SMTP Server Conguration dialog box opens.
