Two Servers Connected to a Single 12 Gb 4-Port SAS Storage Controller
A storage system with four 12 Gb front-end SAS ports on a single storage controller can connect up to two host servers, if each
host server has two SAS HBAs.
About this task
This configuration includes four fault domains and the storage controller is connected to each host server using two SAS
connections.
NOTE: This configuration is vulnerable to storage controller unavailability, which results in a loss of connectivity between
the host servers and the storage system.
