Dell Storage REST API v4 Release Notes
The Dell Storage REST API provides API commands that allow you to manage a Data Collector and Storage Centers to the same extent as
using Storage Manager.
The issues included in these release notes are specic to the Dell Storage REST API. Additionally, the issues in the Storage Manager 2018
R1 Release Notes may be encountered while using the API.

The following issues are unresolved in Dell EMC Storage REST API version 4.
Issue
Description
DSM-37534 Running the POST api/rest/StorageCenter/ScVolume/{InstanceId}/GetHistoricalStorageUsage
cmdlet returns zeroes in the data reduction estimated value elds.
Workaround: Use the GET api/rest/StorageCenter/ScVolume/{InstanceId}/StorageUsage cmdlet to
view historical data.
DSM-36315 The FluidCache namespace is no longer supported. It will be removed completely in Storage Manager
API v5.0.
Workaround: None.
DSM-35739 Some API calls may no longer work due to tightening of security roles.
Workaround: None.
DSM-14769 The GET /StorageCenter/StorageCenter/{instanceId}/ IscsiFaultDomainList call intermittently returns
an empty value for the number of fault domains.
Workaround: Call the GET command again.
DSM-14292 The API allows a user to send a virtualization volume that is a part of a LiveVolume to the Recycle Bin.
