Software Requirements

The following list identifies the minimum software requirements for using the Dell Storage vSphere Web Client Plugin .

• Minimum Enterprise Manager: 2015 R3

• Minimum Storage Center OS version: 6.5

• Minimum VMware ESXi version: 5.5

• Minimum VMware vCenter Web Client Server version: 5.5

• Minimum FluidFS version: 4.0.100714

New Features and Enhancements in Version 3.1

Version 3.1 of the Dell Storage vSphere Web Client Plugin includes the following new features and enhancements:

• Support for Storage Center OS version 6.7

• Support for Fluid File System (FluidFS) version 5

• Support for FluidFS-based NAS datastores:

• Create, edit, and delete NAS volume snapshots

• Create, edit, and delete NAS volume snapshot schedules

• Support for Replication/Live Volume when creating VMFS datastores

• Support for Replication/Live Volume when deploying virtual machines to a new VMFS datastore

• Support for Live Volumes:

• Configure Live Volume to automatically failover to the secondary volume in event of a failure.
