SCv300 and SCv320 Expansion Enclosure Drives
Dell Enterprise Plus hard disk drives (HDDs) and Dell Enterprise Plus solid-state drives (SSDs) are the only drives that can be
installed in
SCv300 and SCv320 expansion enclosures. If a non-Dell Enterprise Plus drive is installed, the Storage Center prevents
the drive from being managed.
The drives in an SCv300 expansion enclosure are installed horizontally. The drives in an SCv320 expansion enclosure are installed
vertically. The indicators on the drives provide status and activity information.
