To start a conversation

1 Touch to s elect a fri end in the friends list.

2 Type your message in the text box.

3 Touch the to se nd the message.

To add a friend to an active conversation

1 On the chat screen, close the on-screen keyboard, and then

touch the icon→ Add to chat.

2 Select the friend you want to invite to the current conversation.

To disable the chat log

1 On the chat screen, close the on-screen keyboard, and then

touch the icon→ Go off the record.

2 The subsequent chat conversations will not be recorded. To

resume the chat log, touch Stop chatting off the record.

To close a conversation

•On a chat screen, touch to close the current conversation.

•On a chat screen, touch the Menu button on the device or the

Menu button on the screen→ Close all chats to close all the

conversation.

To display all friends in your friends list

•To display all your friends in the friends list, touch the Menu

button on the device or the Menu button on the screen→

All friends.

•To display only the friends that you chat with most frequently,

touch the Menu button on the device or the Menu button

on the screen→
