1 Overview SupportAssist Enterprise is an application that automates technical support for your Dell server, storage, and networking devices. SupportAssist Enterprise monitors your devices and proactively detects hardware issues that may occur. When a hardware issue is detected, SupportAssist Enterprise automatically opens a support case with Technical Support and sends you an email notification.

OMSA version recommended for SupportAssist Enterprise For monitoring a server that you have added in SupportAssist Enterprise by using the Device Type as Server / Hypervisor, the Dell OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) agent must be installed and running on the device. The following sections list the recommended version of OMSA that must be installed on such servers. The recommended version of OMSA may vary depending on the generation of the server and the operating system running on the server.
