dir
Description
This command displays a list of files stored in the flash file system.
Syntax
No parameters.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to view the system files associated with the controller.
Output from this command includes the following:
z The first column contains ten place holders that display the file permissions.
First place holder: Displays - for a file or d for directory.
Next three place holders: Display file owner permissions: r for read access, w for write access permissions,
x for executable.
Following three place holders: Display member permissions: r for read access or x for executable.
Last three place holders: Display non-member permissions: r for read access or x for executable.
z The second column displays the number of links the file has to other files or directories.
z The third column displays the file owner.
z The fourth column displays group/member information.
z The remaining columns display the file size, date and time the file was either created or last modified, and the
file name.
Example
The following command displays the files currently residing on the system flash:
(host) #dir
The following is sample output from this command:
