Description
Modify an existing entry in the campus AP whitelist.
Syntax
Example
The following command changes the certificate type, AP state and description of the AP with the MAC address
00:1E:37:CB:D4:52:
(host) (config) #whitelist-db cpsec modify mac-address 00:1E:37:CB:D4:52

Parameter Description
mac-address <mac-
address>
MAC address of the AP you want to enter into the cpsec whitelist database.
cert-type Identify the type of certificate to be used by the AP.
switch-cert: AP is using a certificate signed by the controller.
factory-cert: AP is using a factory-installed certificate. This option should only be used for
AP model types W-AP105 and AP-120 Series.
description (Optional) Enter a brief description of the AP. If the description includes spaces, you must
enclose the description in quotation marks.
mode Select disable to disable an AP’s entry in the campus AP whitelist. A disabled AP will not be able
to contact the controller via a secure channel. Select enable to reenable a disabled AP.
revoke-text If you disable an AP entry, the revoke-text parameter allows you to enter a brief text string
describing why the AP was revoked.
state Select one of the following AP states:
approved-ready-for-cert: AP has been approved state and is ready to receive a certificate.
certified-factory-cert: AP is certified and has a factory-installed certificate.
