aaa inservice
aaa inservice <server-group> <server>
Description
This command designates an “out of service” authentication server to be “in service”.
Syntax
Usage Guidelines
By default, the controller marks an unresponsive authentication server as “out of service” for a period of 10
minutes (you can set a different time limit with the aaa timers dead-time command). The aaa inservice
command is useful when you become aware that an “out of service” authentication server is again available before
the dead-time period has elapsed. (You can use the aaa test-server command to test the availability and response
of a configured authentication server.)
Example
The following command sets an authentication server to be in service:
aaa inservice corp-rad rad1
