ip pppoe-max-segment-size <mss>
Description
This command configures the maximum TCP segment size (mss), in bytes, for Point-to-Point Protocol over
Ethernet (PPPoE) data.
Syntax
Usage Guidelines
The maximum segment size for PPPoE is smaller than the normal Ethernet encapsulation size because of the
PPPoE overhead.
Example
The following command configures the PPPoE maximum TCP segment size:
(host) (config) #ip pppoe-max-segment-size 1412
