ping <ipaddress>
Description
This command sends five ICMP echo packets to the specified ip address.
Syntax<
Usage Guidelines
You can send five ICMP echo packets to a specified IP address. The controller times out after two seconds.
Example
The following example pings 10.10.10.5.
(host) >ping 10.10.10.5
The sample controller output is:
Press 'q' to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 10.10.10.5, timeout is 2 seconds:!!!!!
Success rate is 100 percent (5/5), round-trip min/avg/max = 0.408/0.5434/1.073 ms
