About Chromebook in Onboard
Chromebook is a managed device. When you use Google Apps for Business or Google Apps for Education, you
use the Google Admin console for provisioning, management, and control of Chromebook devices.
However, Chromebook still requires a Wi-Fi connection to work.
Administrators can take advantage of W-ClearPass Onboard's Chromebook support for certificate enrolling.
Users can be provided with EAP-TLS client certificates to securely establish their network identity. All of the
existing capabilities of Onboard can then be leveraged to ensure reliable and policy-controlled access to the
network.
