Virtual private network. Enables secure access to a corporate network when located remotely.

Vendor-specific attribute.

Defined set of internet or network resources that can or cannot be accessed by unauthorized users through
the captive portal.
W-ClearPass
Access Management System for creating and enforcing policies across a network to all devices and applic-
ations. The W-ClearPass integrated platform includes Policy Manager, Guest, Onboard, OnGuard, Insight, Pro-
file, AirGroup, and MACTrac.
W-ClearPass Guest
Configurable W-ClearPass application for secure visitor network access management. Access permissions to
W-ClearPass Guest features are controlled through an operator profile that can be integrated with an LDAP
server or Active Directory login. The W-ClearPass Guest application can be accessed either directly or
through Policy Manager.
Web Auth
User-authentication system for Web pages and Web applications. Web authentication transactions through
the dissolvable agent in OnGuard.

XML-RPC
XML Remote Procedure Call. Protocol that uses XML to encode its calls and HTTP as a transport mechanism.
The XML-RPC interface is available to third-party applications that will integrate with the W-ClearPass Guest
Visitor Management Appliance. The W-ClearPass Guest XML-RPC API provides direct access to the underlying
functionality of the W-ClearPass Guest Visitor Management Appliance. Developers wishing to provide integ-
rated applications can use the API to programmatically perform actions that would otherwise require manual
operation of the user interface.
