Deployment Guide

Application sets let you specify either individual applications or groups of applications that should be installed
during device provisioning, and indicate whether they should be restarted when the device is provisioned. Each
application set you define is a "configuration unit"that you can include in a configuration profile.
To create and work with application sets, go to Onboard > Configuration Profiles > Applications. The
Applications list view opens.
All application sets that have been created are included in the list. You can click an application set's row in the list
for additional options:
l To view details for an application set, click its Show Details link. The form expands to show the application set's
name and description, the applications that will be installed, and whether the device should be restarted after the
application is installed.
l To edit any of an application set's attributes, click its Edit link. The Applications form opens.
l To create a copy of an application set to use as a basis for a new set, click its Duplicate link. The Applications
form opens with all attributes prepopulated and "Copy" appended to the set's name. You can rename the new
application set, and edit any of its attributes.
l To see if the application set is currently used, click its Show Usage link. The form expands to show a list of
configuration profiles that use the application set.
l To create a new application set, click the Create new application set link in the upper right corner. The
Applications form opens.
