6. In the Machine Authentication area, you may enter a value in the Shared Secret fields, or leave them blank to
prompt the user to create the shared secret.
7. In the User Authentication area of the form, you may enter a value in the Account field, or leave them blank to
prompt the user to enter the account.
8. In the User Authentication field, select either Password or RSA SecurID as the authentication type for the
connection.
9. You can specify a proxy server to use when the VPN connection is active. In the Proxy Settings area of the form,.
Choose one of the following options from the Proxy Setup drop-down list:
l None No proxy server will be configured with this VPN profile.
l Manual A proxy server will be configured with this VPN profile. Specify the proxy server settings in the
Server and Port fields.
l If authentication is required to access this proxy, you may specify the username and password using the
Authentication and Password text fields.
l Automatic The proxy server will be automatically configured with this VPN profile. Specify the location of a
proxy auto-config file in the Proxy Server URL text field.
10. Click Save Changes. The VPN configuration is available as a configuration unit on the Configuration Profile
form
Device Management
The Device Management page lists all devices and lets you manage the devices' access to the network. For each
device, you can allow or deny network access.
When a device is denied access, its certificates are revoked. For a device that has had its access denied, you can
grant access again, allowing it to re-enroll and obtain a new certificate.
