2. In the Name field, give the controller a short name that identifies it clearly. AirGroup controller names can
include spaces.
3. In the Description field, you may record additional useful information about the controller.
4. To enable Policy Manager's AirGroup notification service for the controller, mark the check box in the Enabled
row. With this service enabled, the controller receives change of authorization (CoA) Requests for sharing events
from associated MAC addresses and the events are logged.
5. In the Hostname field, enter the hostname or IP address of the controller.
6. In the RFC 3576 Port row, use the drop-down list to enter the UDP port number for receiving CoA
notifications. The default in ClearPass Guest is 5999.
7. In the Shared secret field, enter the shared secret for AirGroup dynamic notifications.
8. In the SSH Username field, enter the SSH username for accessing the controller.
9. In the SSH Password field, enter the SSH password for accessing the controller.
10. In the Enable Password field, enter the enable password for the controller.
11. Click Save Changes.
Configuring AirGroup Services
To enable support for dynamic notification of AirGroup events when new devices are added, each AirGroup-enabled
controller must also be defined in Dell Networking W-ClearPass Guest. Configuration options include specifying
roles to exclude from the user interface, and setting an automatic polling schedule, message parameters, and logging
levels.
To configure AirGroup Services:
1. Go to Administration > AirGroup Services > Configuration. The Configure AirGroup Services form opens.
