Parameter Description
Name Displays the name of the service.
Type Displays the type of authentication associated with the service. For example, RADIUS,
Web Authentication, and TACACS.
Template Specifies the type of the service template to create a service.
Status Displays the status of the service. A green/red icon indicates enabled/disabled state.
Click the icon to toggle the status of a service between Enabled and Disabled.
NOTE: If a service is in Monitor mode, an [m] indicator is displayed next to the Status
icon.

Adding Services
From the Services page (Configuration > Services) or from the Start Here page (Configuration > Start
Here), you can create a new service using the Add Service option. Click on Add in the upper-right corner to
add a new service. The following figure shows an example of the Add Service tab followed by parameter
definition:
