W-ClearPass Policy Manager 5K Hardware Appliance
The W-ClearPass Policy Manager 5K hardware appliance (CP-HW-5K) is a RADIUS/ TACACS+ server that provides
advanced policy control for up to 5,000 unique endpoints.
CP-HW-5K ships with two x 1TB SATA disk drives. These drives are managed by an LSI RAID controller. The
drives are configured as a RAID1 pair (RAID1 = block level mirroring). The LSI controller presents to W-ClearPass
a single virtual 1TB drive, masking the two underlying physical drives.
Figure 2 shows the ports on the rear panel of the W-ClearPass 5K hardware appliance. The function of each of
these ports is described in Table 1.

You can also access the W-ClearPass hardware appliance by connecting a monitor and keyboard to the
hardware appliance.
