2. Click On-Demand Subnet Scan.
The Initiate On-Demand Subnet Scan dialog opens.

3. To discover hosts, specify the IP subnets to be scanned in the Subnets to scan text field.
Separate multiple subnets with commas.
4. Click Submit.
The subnet scan progress is shown on the Profile Settings page. You can view the subnet scan events in
the Monitoring > Event Viewer page.
Figure 430 displays the subnet scan logs in the Event Viewer page:

SNMP Configuration for Wired Network Profiling
For wired network profiling, you can configure a list of multiple SNMP community strings to query static IP
devices discovered by the Profiler.
If a static IP device does not respond to queries from the default public community string, the SNMP service
can use the credentials from this custom list to query the device.
To configure SNMP for wired network profiling:
1. Navigate to Configuration > Profile Settings.
