Installing a Push Certificate

Installing the push certificate you received from the Apple Developer Center allows you communicate privately and

securely with the iOS devices you manage.

You can either upload the distribution certificate file you received, or you can open the file and copy and paste the

certificate contents.

To install a push certificate:

1. Go to Onboard + WorkSpace > Initial Setup > iOS MDM Push Certificate

2. Click iOS Push Certificate Install.

3. Click Create a new CSR.

4. Fill in the New Certificate Request fields. The following additional items in the Advanced Options section define

security options:

l Private Key defines the key size for RSA encryption. Select:

n 1024-bit RSA

n 2048-bit RSA

l Digest Algorithm is a cryptographic "hash" method. Select:

n SHA-1 (recommended, and considered the stronger of the two options)

n MD5

5. Click Create Certificate Request.
