In both cases, you will see the Customize App page next. The options here not only customize the app's appearance
and details, but control how the app and its data are controlled.
4. Customize the app. See the table below for details on each field.
5. Click Save or Update. (If the app is already one you manage, the button will be "update" and the managed app will
be updated.)
Name Description
App Name
The name of the app as it appears on the iOS device under the icon. The name should
be short so it is not truncated
Description
Optional additional information about the app. This information appears in the list of
apps on the Enterprise Apps Management page.
Icon Shows the icon currently used for the app.
Customize
Icon
When selected, enables the Custom Icon and Revert Icon choices.
Custom Icon Select from icon files uploaded with Content Manager.
App Type The app type.
App ID The app ID.
Version The version of the app.
URL
Scheme
The URL scheme, if available.
Browser Select this option if the app is not a native iOS app.
Document
Sharing
Select this option if you want to allow this app to be able to share its documents and
data with a user's other iOS devices via iTunes and iCloud.
Installation
Type
l Mandatory: The app will be installed automatically if is is included in the
provisioning profile.
l Optional: Users can choose whether or not to install the app in @Work.
Group
Select the group the app will be installed in. (A group is equivalent to a folder.) Default
means it will be installed in the @Work group. Create New Group allows you to enter a
new group name on the fly.
New Group Enter a new group name.
Provisioning
Profile
Select the provisioning profile that this app will be included with.
