Connectivity Guide

To view details of an app on a device:
1. Go to Onboard + WorkSpace > Management and Control > View by Device.
2. Click the name of a device.
3. Click Manage Apps on Device.
4. Click the name of an app.
5. Click View App Details.
Locking an App
When you lock an app, it will appear grayed out and with a lock icon within the WorkSpace app. If users try to open
it, they will receive a message that the app is locked and "unavailable or disabled by policy."
To lock an app:
1. Go to Onboard + WorkSpace > Management and Control > View by Device.
2. Click the name of a device.
3. Click Manage Apps on Device.
4. Click the name of the app you want to lock. The app must have a status of OK.
5. Click Lock App.
6. Select the Lock this app checkbox.
7. Click Lock App.
The app status will change to locked.
Unlocking an App
To unlock an app:
1. Go to Onboard + WorkSpace > Management and Control > View by Device.
2. Click the name of a device.
3. Click Manage Apps on Device.
4. Click the name of an app that has a status of locked.
5. Click Unlock App.
6. Select the Unlock this app checkbox.
7. Click Unlock App.
The app status will change to ok.
Wiping App Data
Wiping an app's data will remotely erase all data files of an app you manage within the WorkSpace app.
Once you wipe an app's data it cannot be recovered.
To wipe app data:
1. Go to Onboard + WorkSpace > Management and Control > View by Device.
2. Click the name of a device.
3. Click Manage Apps on Device.
4. Click the name of an app.
5. Click Wipe App Data.
6. Select the Wipe Data checkbox.
