Creating a New App Policy Template
To create an app policy template:
1. Go to Onboard +WorkSpace > WorkSpace Configuration > App Policy Templates.
2. Click Create new app policy template.
App Policy Template Settings page appears.
3. Enter a unique Policy Template Name and an optional description.
4. Select the correct OS Type: iOS or Android.
5. Define the policies for the template. See the table below for details.
6. Click Save Changes.
Field Description
Name App policy template names must be unique and should be descriptive.
Description
A description is optional, but can give more information about a template so you can
decide which one to use without looking at its details.
OS Type Select the iOS OS type.
Authentication Policies
User
Authentication
If selected, users of the apps that use this template will have to authenticate every
time they use the app.

Authentication
Timeout
If User Authentication is selected, defines how long (in minutes) the app can be idle or
unused before authentication is required again.
Required on
Foreground
If User Authentication is selected, selecting this check box means that users will have
to sign in every time they have left the app and want to return.
Offline Use
Select this check box if you want the app to be used on the device even when it goes
offline.
Note that the app must be restarted on the client device for the changes of this setting
to take effect.
