App Profile Option Description
Allow Simple
For users to use managed apps, they must enter a passcode
when starting the WorkSpace app.
l Select this option for passcodes to a 4-digit number.
l Clear this option to define more complex passcode policies.
Require Alphanumeric
Available only when the Allow Simple check box is cleared.
When selected, users must include at least one letter in their
passcode.
Minimum Passcode
Length
Available only when the Allow Simple check box is cleared.
Enter a number to define the minimum number of characters a
passcode must contain.
Minimum Complex
Chars
Available only when the Allow Simple check box is cleared.
Enter a number to define the minimum number of complex
characters a passcode must contain. A "complex" character is a
non-alphanumeric character, or any character other than a
number or letter.
Maximum Passcode
Age
This policy defines the number of days before a device user
must change their passcode to access managed apps in
WorkSpace.
Passcode History
This policy defines how many unique passcodes a user must
enter when required to change passcodes before they can
reuse a passcode. WorkSpace keeps a per-device history of
passcodes up to the number entered here, and when required to
change their passcode, a user cannot re-use a passcode still in
that history.

Select this policy if you want users to enter a passcode every
time they open the WorkSpaceapp to use any managed apps.
Passcode
Authentication Timeout
Available only when the Passcode Authentication check box is
selected. Defines the amount of time, in minutes, how long
managed apps can be used before being required to enter the
passcode again.
Required on
Foreground
Available only when the Passcode Authentication check box is
selected. Select this policy if you want the passcode entered
every time the WorkSpace app is opened or otherwise brought
to the foreground.
Lock & Wipe Settings
Passcode Attempts
Defines how many passcode entry attempts must fail before any
app lock & wipe policies get implemented.
Authentication Attempts
Defines how many authentication attempts, either user ID or
passcode, must fail before any app lock & wipe policies get
implemented.
Fail-Safe Policies
Enable
This setting is used to secure WorkSpace and its apps should
