show syslog-level
Description
This command displays the Syslog logging levels configured for a W-IAP.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to view the Syslog logging facilities and the associated logging level.
Example
The following example shows to output of the show syslog-level command:

The output of this command provides the following information:
Parameter Description
Facility
Displays the list of logging facilities configured on the W-IAP.
ap-debug
Generates a log for the AP device for debugging purposes.
network
Generates a log when there is a change in the network, for example, when a new W-IAP
is added to a network.
security
Generates a log for network security, for example, when a client connects using wrong
password.
system
Generates a log about the system configuration and status.
user
Generates a log for the W-IAP clients.
user-debug
Generates a detailed log about the clients for debugging purposes.
wireless
Generates a log about radio configuration.
syslog-level
<level>
Displays any of the following Syslog logging level configured for the Syslog facility.
l Emergency Panic conditions that occur when the system becomes unusable.
l Alert Any condition requiring immediate attention and correction.
l Critical Any critical conditions, for example, hard drive error.
l Errors —Error conditions.
l Warning Warning messages.
l Notice Significant events of a non-critical and normal nature. The default value for
all Syslog facilities.
l Informational Messages of general interest to system users.
l Debug Messages containing information useful for debugging.
