Description
This command configures Deep-Packet Inspection and the global bandwidth contract for an application or
application category for the AppRF feature.
Syntax
Parameter Description
custom-app
The application or application category.
<name>
Name of the application or application category.
<http/s uri host>
HTTP or HTTPS URI host of the application or application cat-
egory.
<http/s uri path>
HTTP or HTTPS URI path of the application or application cat-
egory.
global-bandwidth-contract
Configures the global bandwidth contract for an application or
application category.
app <name>
Name of the application. For a complete list of supported applic-
ations, issue the command show dpi application all.
appcategory <name>
Name of the application category. For a complete list of sup-
ported application categories, issue the command show dpi
application category all.
downstream
Bandwidth contract to downstream traffic.
upstream
Bandwidth contract to upstream traffic.
kbits <value>
Specify bandwidth in kbits per second.
Range: 256-2000000.
mbits <value>
Specify bandwidth in mbits per second.
Range: 1-2000.
Usage Guidelines
You can configure bandwidth contracts to limit application and application categories on an application or
global level.
Example
To configure global bandwidth contracts:
(host)(config) #dpi global-bandwidth-contract[app|appcategory]
<name>[downstream|upstream][kbits|mbits]<256..2000000>
