Description
Displays IO statistics information. This command reports Central Processing Unit (CPU) statistics and
input/output statistics for devices and partitions.
Syntax
No parameters.
Example
Issue this command to display the IO statistics of the controller.

The output includes the following parameters:
Parameter Description
cpu
The number of jiffies (1/100th of a second) that the system spent in user
mode, user mode with low priority, system mode, and the idle task,
respectively.
page
The number of pages the system paged in and the number that were paged
out (from disk).
swap
The number of swap pages that have been brought in an out.
intr
The number of interrupts received from the system boot.
disk_io
(x,y) is (major, minor):(xx, xx, xxxx, x, x) is (noinfo, read_io_ops, blks_read, write_
io_ops, blks_written)
ctxt
The number of context switches that the system underwent.
